WIP

*warning: this post is picture filled ;)

I have no finishes...just tons of WIPs (Works in Progress).  When I first stared quilting (oh, 2ish years ago), I was a "work on one thing at a time" kinda girl.  But now...not so much.  There are just so many things that I want to try, I may be developing "crafter's ADD."  Most of my WIPs I would love to have completed by the winter months (i.e. Christmas - several are supposed to be gifts).

 

Not a gift, but it would be nice if I got around to quilting it.

 

We've got some new kids around here who need stockings.

Birthday Madness

I have had a very busy week and a half since my last post.  I was staying with my grandparents to help them out, since my grandfather just got out of the hospital.  And I have been working part-time at a wonderful daycare (Infant's Inn).  This past weekend my sister and her fabulous family came into town to visit me for my birthday.  We had a great few days: swimming, reading, cooking, just enjoying the company (sure missed my cousins, my aunts and uncles, and my brother's family though - October cannot come soon enough!).  We celebrated my birthday on Sunday since Wendy left on Monday (yep, my birthday was on Labor Day).

Then I got to work on Tuesday and was greeted by a delicious homemade yellow cake with chocolate icing (my favorite) and a generous gift card to JoAnn's.  I have the best coworkers!

Wednesday was my grandmother's 82nd birthday and we went out for manicures and pedicures!  (no picture of my hands and feet...that might be a bit much - there are enough pics in this post :))

Wonder if the birthday fun will continue today?  Hope so!
